You might not believe it, but 80% of the magazine is freelance written.

• Process: Send clips of published work (photocopies are fine) and a well-written pitch, including a sample lead that represents the direction, tone, and style proposed for the story.

  • $250+ for content that includes corporate and industry profiles, regional-issue analysis, and travel and community profiles departments and run about 1,600 words in length.

• Process: Check out  Write For Us page for more information about sending in individual tutorials and articles, or just fire away at their content-pitch form.
• How much do they pay you to write for them:
  • $150 per tutorial for the first month.
  • $175 per tutorial from the second month onwards, with a pay review after six months.

A few best practices –

• Send in an original pitch. Include your name, email, topic and a brief about it. Do not forget to mention any good places you have already been published
• Write your own content and do not copy it
• Look through the website/blog to get a feel of the topics and writing style.
• Do not pitch extremely similar topics that are already covered
