He Refused To Help His Daughter (Who is in College) With Car Payments Because She Strips For Extra Income. Mom Thinks He Is Wrong. What Do You Think?

Some jobs can be considered not-so-ethical or not-so-moral but what happens when you take it too far. A Redditor took to the forum and asked “Am I wrong for refusing to help my daughter with her car payment because she is a stripper?”

We want to know from you.

Backstory:

The Original Poster (OP) is a 47 year old male, and have a 22 year old daughter. She is in college and lives on campus. OP agreed to help her make car payments since she was still in school.

OP was recently informed by a young man OP works with that his daughter strips at a club about 40 minutes away.

OP confronted her on this and she said she didn’t plan to do it after she graduated, and she needed some money. OP told her then work at McDonalds, or any other place that hire teens but not use her body.

What Happened Next?

They got into an argument, and OP asked her to quit stripping and get a decent job then. She refused and said stripping was easy money, so OP said there was no need for me to pay her car payment anymore since she is making money so easily.

She got upset and said that wasn’t fair, and that she doesn’t make enough for that. OP told her to figure it out. She told my wife about what happened, and my wife is upset by her job of choice but says it’s unfair for me to stop supporting her so suddenly over an argument.

However, OP think it’s perfectly fair, it’s his money and his decision when to cut it off.

What do you think? Was it appropriate was OP to refuse giving money to his daughter? Was it inappropriate for the daughter to start stripping for easy money?
