“During an interview, my insulin pump went off (it does this quite often). My potential boss asked me if I had to wear it all the time. I said yes and explained I was a type 1 diabetic. They then asked if I could leave my insulin pump in a locket for an 8-hour shift. No, I can’t. It got awkward. I didn’t get the job.”

“It was a panel interview (about 6-7 people. dept heads, hr, etc.) for a 911 dispatch job. This detective, out of the blue, asked me if I had ever raped someone. Caught me off guard and threw the whole interview off the rails.”
